Is it a Woman’s responsibility to keep the Man in her life faithful?

Eritrea has been trending internationally through digital channels for a purported fallacy; that men must marry two wives or get jailed.

This elicited changes from some women in Kenya and Nigeria. Men tweeted about the sudden reformation of character from their girlfriends and wives who out of the blue, became cosier, cooked more food, prepared them a bath, and all the acts of service our Kenyan women are not well known for. Which begs the question, is a woman responsible for keeping the man in her life faithful?

A survey was conducted along Ngong Road and it was found that 70% of men drive towards Nakumatt Prestige Plaza, Nairobi Kenya after office hours, park their vehicles in the parking arena and take a nap in their cars until 9:30pm, in the hope of finding a sleeping wife back at home; even worse is Nakumatt High Ridge. All this trouble to avoid the nagging and the noise and the yapping. The teacher says better to live in the wilderness than to share a house with a quarrelsome wife. Do these actions drive the man to look outside the home?

A woman in my opinion, should learn to take care of her home. Make the man of the household feel like the King of the Jungle, pamper his ego and satisfy his cravings. Do that right and you will have nothing to worry about whether Eritrea passes a penal code or any country for that matter actually pass a law to enforce multiple partners.

Men are simple to diagnose. Women on the other hand, you can’t live with them, you cannot live without them. So, until we speak again, welcome to a man’s world. To get a female perspective on this topic, please CLICK HERE to read my colleague, Yvonne’s views.
