Mercy is a young, ambitious, motivational speaker, who at the age of 9, acquired a physical disability resulting in her being under medication for 12 years. Mercy did not however, allow these challenges to kill her vision.
She is a full time employee at Safaricom Limited and is founder of: Ability Society of Kenya where her responsibilities include job placements, a position she finds both demanding but rewarding.
Mercy has a Bachelor’s Degree in BED arts (English and literature) and is currently pursuing her masters in Gender and disability studies at Kenyatta University. She has a leadership certificate from the University of Arkansas, USA and is also a trainer of trainers on disability rights and monitoring, both locally and internationally. Mercy has trained in Rwanda and South Africa.
