What a marvellous quote this is!  How true it is.

Of course we’ve all worked with people who always seem to take credit for other people’s work. There is nothing worse than working in a group consisting of 1-2 free riders especially if/when appraisal/bonus time comes, they too seem to be rewarded as much as you! Where is the justice in  that I hear you ask?

However, rather than bearing a grudge, let nature take its course. Life has a way of eventually exposing such people so, focus on yourself instead of them. Keep positive and keep learning – always of course, having a long term plan or objective because, “HOLDING A GRUDGE IS LETTING SOMEONE LIVE RENT FREE, IN YOUR HEAD!” They don’t pay rent, clean the dishes, take out the rubbish, or do anything else to make your head-space better by being there – so why are you allowing someone to occupy your head, rent free?

Lesson for today?  Do to them what any landlord does to an unruly tenant; KICK THEM OUT! Let go of the grudge and clean up your head with thoughts about positive people. Be patient, work hard, your time will come! Have a grudge free week!  #MotivationalMonday To read more posts by Miriam, click HERE
