For the past few months, I have been very loyal to working out and exercising in order to remain healthy and in good shape. I can bench press 60 Kgs in cycles of 30 for 5 sets, I can lift 15 Kgs in one arm in cycles of 20 for 10 sets and can do 100 squats in 10 cycles for 10 sets with 130 Kgs on my back. I knew finally I was in good shape.

For the past two days, I had been reduced into a log just sleeping and being frustrated by the terrible headache which intensified if I sat upright or tried to stand or do anything. So when the doctor did the lab test, I was expecting something big was responsible for distabilizing me. When he  told me it is just a stomach bacteria, I found it hilarious. Just a weightless, invisible, almost nonexistent thing was frustrating the 74 Kgs piece of mass that I am.

It dawned to me that in life, we may spend time expecting or preparing for big enemies and protecting ourselves from perceived big stumbling blocks, but it is the little things that bring us down to our knees. Minute, tiny and invisible things but beyond our control or guard.

This is how much we need The Creator in life. He is the only one who can protect us from such invisible, tiny little things that are beyond our control. To read more posts by Danstan, click HERE
