As we move up the ladder of success, we keep beating our chests and telling people how gifted we are with brains and brawn. We thank family and friends for their support and ourselves for the efforts that made us achieve much. And yet, not once have I heard anyone give credit to teachers.
I believe that just the way parents are a vital part of one’s general life around home, teachers are key players in the general growth in academics and the professional life of a student.
Education gives us the knowledge of the world around us. It develops in us, a perspective of looking at life. It helps us build opinions and have points of view about everything in life. Education is one of the greatest services provided by teachers. Schools are often one of the first places where a child’s behavior and future educational success is shaped. The role played by teachers becomes important and it can be said that they are in a way, our nation builders. Teachers work in close co-ordination with students to help them in building and shaping their future.
In my view, teachers are the succeeding mothers for the students because students spend most of their time with their teachers. We can say that mothers are not born as great mothers but their experiences with their kids, develop their expertise in the field of motherhood. Teachers play the same vital role as mothers play for their kids. Like mothers, teachers also shower their care, love, respect, lead and instruct for the betterment of their students.
Teachers are an extremely important asset for any society as they are the ones who educate the youth of society who in turn, become the leaders of the next generation of people and play an important role in developing their country as a good citizen of any nation. Teachers educate the kids in their most impressionable years, which stay with these kids for the rest of their lives.
A teacher is a beacon light that acts as a lighthouse to guide the stranded students in the sea of life and they should work as the role model for their students in order to achieve the all-round development of the children. Teachers are the real nation builders who enrich a young generation of children so that the future is a safe, secure and great place to live, for every person in society. Thank you teacher.
