MAKING TASTY GREEN GRAMS
INGREDIENTS
1. 2 tablespoons oil/margarine
2. 2 onions, chopped
3. 3 cloves garlic, crushed
4. 2 teaspoons ginger ,crushed
5. 1 teaspoon gram masala
6. 1⁄2 teaspoon turmeric
7. 1 tablespoon tomato paste
8. 2 cups boiled green grams
9. 2 beef cubes, small
10. 2 cups milk
11. Salt and pepper to taste
PROCEDURE
1. Heat oil/margarine in a pan. Add onion and cook until soft. Add garlic and ginger. Cook until
browned.
2. Add gram masala,, turmeric and tomato paste. Stir while cooking until deep red, about 3
minutes on medium –low heat.
3. Add the green grams. Stir and simmer for 5minutes.
4. Add beef cubes and milk. Season with salt and pepper. Stir, cover and simmer until thick and
creamy, about 5minutes. Serve with rice or chapatti.
