Any day is a good day to appreciate your man, every day is the ideal day to recognize his efforts. Men like women who always appreciate the little efforts they do, to make your marriage or relationship a success. To tell you the truth, there are good men out there and you are probably dating one; if he makes you laugh, kisses your forehead, says he’s sorry, makes an effort, hold your hand, works hard, attempts to understand you, then believe it or not, he’s quite perfect and so guard him jealously.
Avoid the snare that has ruined too many relationships; gossip and temptation. I see young girls fall prey to this a lot and ruin for themselves, the golden chance they had. How? They often end up exploring with all sorts of men who cause them heartaches and turmoil. If you belong to the category of women who sit to discuss your men/ husbands and the measures you will take to get even with them, you are busy cooking your own soup and I can promise you; it will taste sour in your mouth.
Men only require respect, simple as that. Figure out what he likes and give it to him. Our friends from Taita seem to have mastered that and as you have probably heard, their reputation is rock solid amongst Kenyan men rivaling Tanzanian & Ugandan women. Men don’t like arguments, especially unnecessary ones. If an issue can be solved, please let’s do it amicably; not out in the open for all the public to witness and definitely not on social platforms!.
So, does your man like his chicken grilled? If you sense he’s having a bad day/week, give him that, he’ll love you for days. Did you have a disagreement over a decision? It is rather obvious your decision will prevail. Say he wanted a dog and you wanted a cat, you will both compromise and end up having cats. Know where your strength lies and utilize it. It is the sensitivity within the gesture that counts. No matter how much of a rough edge he has, you can make him tender with your feminine touch.
