Which of these two scenarios would you prefer to find yourself in?
SCENARIO 1 – You walk into an interview, nervous, sweating and lacking confidence. You are worried about the questions that the interview panel may ask. They ask questions which are tough! You couldn’t even answer basic questions about yourself. You knew you were just rambling and not answering the questions directly. After the interview: You are dripping with sweat. The questions were tougher that you’d expected although with preparation, you could have done better. If only you’d prepared…
SCENARIO 2 – You arrive early at the interview, report to reception, greet the receptionist politely, switch off your phone, and as you walk into the interview, you feel confident (thanks to your training). You have had ATB training and have prepared as much as possible. Your ATB training has given you more confidence. The interview starts, you are able to answer most of the questions since they are about you and you have been trained. Although 1-2 other questions were unexpected, you answered as best as you could. You walk out of the interview confident – you know you gave it your best and as per ATB advice, you know no interview is ever a waste of time. If not this job, then you are confident, soon you will be successful.
