How it works – Mobisol combines solar energy with an affordable payment plan via mobile phone, comprehensive customer service and innovative remote monitoring technology. The Berlin-based company offers low-income customers in developing nations quality solar home systems that are a clean alternative to unhealthy, environmentally harmful, and expensive fossil fuels.
Systems come in varying sizes from 80 to 200 Wp to match the various energy needs of differing households. Mobisol solar home systems provide enough electricity to power bright efficient LED lights, radios, mobile phones, TVs, DC fridges and a variety of further household and consumer appliances. SALES MANAGER -Kigali, Rwanda
As Sales Manager, you will drive the establishment of a strong national sales strategy, plan and manage day-to-day activities of our growing operations in Rwanda and build up a strong sales team to deliver results in line with Mobisol’s company objectives. In this senior position, you will be responsible for:
– Sales Planning: co-develop sales strategy and sales targets in line with operation policies and processes regarding sales & marketing
– Sales Growth: maximize sales through existing channels and identify new channels to develop and implement the sales and service structure in the region
– Sales Reporting: preparing a forecast, monitoring the performance and providing weekly/monthly reports to ensure the achievement of sales targets
– Management: building a motivated and highly skilled sales team, while ensuring budget planning and compliance
– Strategic business planning: analyzing market trends and competitors landscape to ensure successful and innovative sales development
This challenging position requires a business degree with focus on sales management as well a proven track record of at least 3 years of professional B2C sales experience in a rapidly growing industry. You should possess sound knowledge and experience in sales reporting and forecasting, budgeting processes, business development and the execution of day-to-day sales performance. As an individual, you pursue a systematic, structured and reliable way of work. In addition to your affinity to sales management, you possess a hands-on approach as well as pronounced social competencies for teamwork and people management. You are target driven and dynamic, and you consider your role as an important contribution to the development of the entire enterprise.
